1. About these terms
I am Shoeb Lodhi, the operator of shoeblodhi.com. These terms apply to this website's articles, frameworks, free calculators, self-assessments and resources. Please read them before using the site. By using it, you agree to these terms to the extent a binding agreement can arise under applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Mandatory rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected.
The website explains my work and provides general information. It does not offer an online checkout for consulting services. A reference to an available service, a strategy call or a possible outcome is an invitation to discuss your needs, rather than a binding commitment to deliver work.
2. Permitted and responsible use
You may read the site, follow its links, use the free tools for lawful purposes and apply general ideas to your own business. You are responsible for deciding whether information is relevant to your circumstances. If you act for an organisation, make sure you have authority to share its information and make decisions on its behalf.
Do not interfere with the site's operation, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate someone, send spam through the contact form or use the tools to support unlawful conduct. Do not submit another person's private information without appropriate authority. Ordinary browsing and legitimate search indexing are allowed; disruptive automated requests or attempts to extract protected material are not.
3. Free tools and estimates
Free calculators and assessments are provided as-is and as available, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A calculator performs a model using your inputs and its stated assumptions. A self-assessment records your judgement against a planning rubric. Neither independently verifies your records, accounting treatment, attribution, data quality or business prospects.
Example figures are illustrations, not client results or typical outcomes. Default inputs marked as examples need to be replaced with your own relevant figures. Results may be rounded. A change in currency, time period, qualification definition or revenue basis can materially change the meaning of a result even when the arithmetic is correct. You should check important calculations independently and keep a record of the assumptions you used.
Tools and articles do not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your situation. I do not guarantee a particular lead volume, win rate, cost saving, ranking, revenue increase or return on investment. You remain responsible for spending, staffing and other decisions based on an estimate.
4. Information quality and availability
I aim to make the site practical and accurate, but information can contain mistakes or become outdated. Software features, provider policies and commercial terms can change. Check material facts with the relevant provider before purchasing or configuring a product. A named product is an example unless the page expressly explains a different relationship.
I may correct, update, suspend or remove content and tools. I do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, continued availability of a particular resource, or compatibility with every browser and device. Blog content is retrieved from a separate WordPress service and may be unavailable if that service fails. I may use locally maintained fallback content. Temporary availability or a successful page response does not confirm the accuracy or completeness of its content.
5. Enquiries and consulting engagements
The contact form sends an enquiry for review. Submitting it or receiving an automated acknowledgement does not book a confirmed appointment, secure availability, establish a professional advisory relationship or create a paid engagement. I will discuss scope and next steps separately. If delivery fails or you do not receive a reply, use [email protected].
Any consulting, implementation or other paid service requires a separate agreement covering the relevant work. That agreement should address scope, fees, payment, timelines, responsibilities, confidentiality, data processing, ownership and termination as appropriate. Its express terms govern that engagement if they conflict with these general website terms. Nothing on this site requires you or me to proceed with a proposed project.
6. Your submissions and privacy
You keep any rights you hold in material you send me. By sending an enquiry, you permit me to receive, review and use it to respond and discuss the request, including through the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to those purposes and does not transfer ownership of your underlying work.
Provide accurate contact details and avoid passwords, payment card information, sensitive personal records and confidential third-party material. A public contact form is not an agreed secure channel for project credentials or regulated records. If work requires confidential information, we should agree the appropriate terms and exchange method first. 7. Intellectual property and reuse
Unless otherwise identified, I own or have permission to use the original website copy, frameworks, design and other published materials. Relevant third parties retain their rights in their trademarks, products, images, software and contributed content. Mentioning a product does not transfer its rights or imply an endorsement, partnership or certification.
You may use the free tools and apply general framework ideas internally. You may share links and make reasonable short quotations with clear credit to Shoeb Lodhi and the source page, subject to applicable law. This does not grant permission to reproduce substantial parts of the site, sell or redistribute its resources, remove attribution, or present my work as your own. A resource carrying a separate licence follows that licence. Contact me about other reuse.
8. Third-party links and services
The site links to platforms, products, social profiles and other websites. WhatsApp click-to-chat opens a service operated by WhatsApp or Meta; sending a message also uses that service. External providers control their own availability, content, prices, security and terms. Following a link does not make me responsible for their service or create a contract between us for it.
The site also relies on providers for hosting, fonts, analytics, blog content and enquiry email delivery. Their role in personal information handling is described in the Privacy Policy. You should review an external provider's terms before creating an account, sharing information, making a purchase or installing software.
9. Liability and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I exclude warranties that are not expressly stated for this general-information website, including implied promises of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. I am not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, assumptions you choose, independent commercial decisions, or external services outside my reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or business interruption arising from use of the free website, its information or tools. These limits apply only as far as they are lawful and appropriate to the circumstances. They do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Separate service agreements may set different limits for paid work.
10. Access restrictions and events outside control
I may take reasonable steps to restrict abusive traffic, protect security or maintain the site, including temporarily limiting access. Hosting failures, communications outages, provider changes and other events outside reasonable control may affect availability. This does not remove any mandatory obligation imposed by law. If you believe access was restricted by mistake, contact me with a description of the problem and avoid sending sensitive diagnostics.
11. Applicable law and resolving concerns
I work remotely with people in several countries. These website terms do not select an exclusive governing law or court. Applicable law and the competent courts are determined by the relevant rules, including any mandatory consumer protections. A separate signed engagement may specify its own governing law and dispute process.
If a concern arises, please describe it by email so I can review it and try to resolve it. This does not prevent either of us from using available legal remedies or contacting a relevant authority. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent the law permits.
12. Updates and contact
I may update these terms as the site changes. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Revised terms apply to future website use to the extent permitted by law; they do not rewrite an existing signed engagement.
